The Adelaide Times Office proclaims superior exbibit and book-work printing. It offers letter-press printing with style claiming no competition. The office is located opposite the Adelaide Commercial Exchange under the sign Adelaide Times Office.
A detailed prospectus for Clapham Mile Boarding School in Abad Burrs outlines a classic, rigorously structured education for young gentlemen. It describes dormitory comfort, Greek and Latin studies, mathematics and sciences, English and commercial curricula, and a Paris-trained French instructor. Boarding and tuition details, dress, and house rules are set, with references to senior staff and visiting clergy.

Rambler, a celebrated thoroughbred, will stand at the residence of the undersigned in W Street near the Military Barracks Rawnavie at Black Ball Livery Stables each Saturday during the season. Bred by John Field in Van Diemen’s Land, Rambler by Old Wanderer out of Alice Grey, a noted winner imported from New South Wales. Rambler won the 1845 Town Plate at Launceston and other events, and was later sold to Thomas Archer for 500 guineas. Fee set at 3 guineas per mare, with 3s groomage, payable by January 1, 1851, paddocks available for 2s per week, owner PS-Raswerer.
Historical notice recounts Milton the grey stallion imported from Van Diemen's Land, winner of the first class prize at Campbell Town's midkind agricultural show in 1845, with judges’ certificates for best stallion in stock and other shows. It lists terms for purchase and notes general farm goods, pills advertisements, and a letter praising Holloway's Pills including cures for typhus fever and dropsy, with various medical testimonials and a wide array of colonial goods and clothing from retailers in New South Wales.
A fragment notes laces with rich thread and varied widths, mentioning Anorieanhalnga and other lace types, reflecting a catalog-like listing in a historical newspaper.
Sampson a dark bay with black points, a three year old cart stallion from Vandieman's Land, imported by Dr Wilmore, stands at Hindmarsh Bridge Hotel and weekly at Eagle Tavern Hindley street Adchside. He won Campbell Town 1844 best three year old cart stallion and was sold for 40 guineas 4s to Mr Collett. Terms two pounds two shillings per mare, payments due by January 1851. owners not liable for losses.
A lengthy 19th century account details Cantab a thoroughbred horse imported from England to New South Wales aboard the Euphrates in 1899. It notes lineage from General Grosvenor Tantivy and Emitius, with mentions of sires and dams such as Vivaldi Spitfire and Dizzy. The narrative records sales from Mr Kater to Mr Charles Smith for 800 guineas and later transfer to William Builedgs, with remarks on stock quality, size, strength, and success in races across various origins. The text closes with a note that Caab boosted Indian stock and dates to 25 July 1850.

The Annual Cup of £26 for Welter Weights rises to fifty guineas and goes to Cantab's cock in South Australia. Mare grooming and care offered at Five guineas weekly with payment in advance.
