The South Australian Weekly ZBR visPateh announces a new weekly journal designed for family reading. It targets the large Yeoman class across South Australia with content on commerce politics literature and general news.

The Adelaide Laine Weekxly Tours will become the Adelaide Weekly Dispatch on and after Saturday January 3 1853 with sixteen pages and expanded reading. It will feature English wives and daughters in Australian homes, homestead mint series on farming, and a fuller digest of English and colonial news including government notices and vessel arrivals. The paper aims to be a thorough country newspaper with independent politics and new readers, reserving space for new reading material.
Subscriptions cost 6s 6d per quarter payable in advance with quarters ending March June September and December. Advertisements cost 2s 6d for six lines plus 2d per additional line per insertion.
