Public Notice of Adams County General Election 1829
Philip Heagy sheriff of Adams County announces the general election to be held on October 2 1829 across fourteen districts from Gettysburg to Hamp tion with inspectors appointed by law and voting procedures set by the 1806 1821 acts. Voters elect Governor Senator two State Representatives county officers and a county official slate. The certificate of votes will be finalized October 16 at Gettysburg Court House.
