Notice to road makers on Palitimore and Ohio railroad work
Casper W. Wever, Superintendent, invites sealed proposals from November 29 to the 27th for grading portions of the Fourth and Fifth Divisions of the Palitimore and Ohio Railroad and a lateral road to Frederick town, a twenty mile distance. Projects include sections from near the Bill of Smith and Andersen south of New Market across the Monocacy to Point of Rocks and the Frederick City line. Proposals also cover masonry and ground quarry examinations, with on site information sessions by request.
