A public rail road meeting held December 13 at the Courthouse in York Borough discusses the county’s loss of benefits from state improvements and endorses a bill for a Susquehanna to Baltimore line. Delegates propose resolutions urging fair transportation access, opposing monopoly by any market, and stressing York’s rights to participate in regional trade and prosperity.
