Serious Injuries to Sabillasville Farmer in Wagon accident
John Fitz, a 25 year old farmer from Sabillasville, was seriously injured Monday evening at Blue Ridge Summit when his two horse wagon ran away after a horse frightened by the Fast Mail. He was found unconscious in the road, taken to a Blue Ridge Summit drug store, then to his father Henry Fitz at Highfield. He regained consciousness Tuesday night and is reported much better, with an initial skull fracture feared.
