Mrs. Fannie Sophia Newcomer, wife of John Newcomer, died Sunday in Hanover after a week with pneumonia at age 39 years 10 months 18 days. Born in Taneytown to Henry and Martha Aulthouse, she married 17 years ago and leaves four children Carroll David Anna and a five day old infant. Surviving siblings include George, Samuel, and Harry Aulthouse and four sisters. Funeral in Taneytown Reformed Church Sunday morning with interment in the cemetery.

George M. Fogle died at his home near Taneytown on Thursday after a several week illness of pneumonia. He was 73 years old, a lifelong resident, husband to a wife and father of two daughters Mrs. John A. Garner and Miss Abbie Fogle. He leaves three brothers Manasseh, David R., and John T. and a sister Mrs. Burgess Mitler. Funeral services were held last Saturday at the Lutheran church conducted by Rev. L. B. Hafer.

She resided in Dayton for over half a century and is survived by a son three daughters and a sister Mrs Charles W Myers of York. Funeral notices also report the death of Mrs Mary Jane Green aged 86 at the home of her daughter in Taneytown with services at Reisterstown.

Store Robbed in Waynesboro Tailor Shop Heist
G J Dick, who moved from Gettysburg to Waynesboro, reported his tailor shop broken into this week with goods valued at about 40 dollars stolen. A new gray two piece suit and three trousers were taken, all freshly made. Entry used a front door via a duplicate key. Dick had taken over the shop from J F Kneppet last October. prior to that a theft had occurred at Kneppet’s store.

McMaster Clan to Meet at Niagara Falls In August
The third McMaster Clan of America meeting will be at the International Hotel in Niagara Falls on Thursday August 3. Following August meetings were held in 1911 Gettysburg and 1914 Lake Conneaut with seventy five attendees. Future gatherings will occur every two years on the first Thursday in August at various locations. Mrs George Hartman and son returned to Harrisburg after visiting relatives in town.

Shingles Save Him After 22-Foot Fall

Boy 4 Inures Abdomen In Farm Glass Accident
Four year old Robert Seaks, son of Dr George Seaks of New Oxford, fell on a broken glass piece at his father's farm on Tuesday afternoon. Surgeons Dr Elgin of East Berlin and Dr Meisenhelder of York operated to close the wound with no complications expected. Dr Leaks was away in Gettysburg and learned of the accident later.
