She was a Crawford farm descendant, linked to Adams County history and the late Mrs. Edward McPherson, with two half brothers and a niece. Mrs. Huidekoper, wife of General Huidekoper, died in Philadelphia. their 1864 marriage followed his Bucktail regiment service and Medal of Honor at Gettysburg.

New Passenger Station Nears Completion at Hagerstown
Western Maryland company builds a 69000 dollar passenger station at Hagerstown nearly finished and ready for occupancy within a month. A Baltimore team of 25 electrical experts works on the station round house and railroad yard buildings. The brick structure spans a quarter block with two and a half stories for officials and clerks, while first floor houses waiting room ticket office express baggage and other departments. The train shed projects about 100 feet south. A new street is laid at the rear of the station.

High School Wins Close Game Against Hanover Scholastics
