An incendiary fire destroyed Edwin P. Krebs's store in Seitzland Shrewsbury Township York County on Wednesday morning. With aid from Glen Rock Fire Company residents, the blaze confined to the original structure, losses estimated at 6000 with partial insurance. The fire, discovered by Northern Central railroad workers, originated in the adjoining warehouse and leveled the building. contents lost. A freight car nearby containing an automobile belonging to Ralph Kunkle was also destroyed.

Horse and sleigh found after runaway near Mt Tabor
A horse owned by Allen Guise of Tryon Township ran away with a sleigh on Saturday evening at Mt Tabor. The missing team was found Monday afternoon in the woods near Upper Bermudian Church, the horse stiff but uninjured. John Slicker located the pair between two trees after searches all day Sunday and Monday.

Hotel Columbus in McSherrystown will be sold to Eugene Devine from Littlestown and take effect April 1. Devine currently runs the Ocker House in Littlestown and takes over from J Seifert, who is moving to Harrisburg to operate a smaller hotel. KILLED BY WHIRLING SHAFT IN CHAMBERSBURG
February 10 in Chambersburg William McCoy aged 55 a Wolf Company machinist was caught by a belt and whirled about the shaft and crushed. He died within an hour at the hospital after severe injuries leaving a widow, Miss Fannie Lott of near Gettysburg, newly married within the past year.

Horse Killed In Mont Alto Barbed Wire Incident
William Mann of Mont Alto lost a horse on Wednesday when it escaped and wandered down the street. In trying to catch the frightened animal he ran into a barbed wire fence and suffered severe lacerations, resulting in the horse's death.
