Bounties Drop Two Thirds Under New Noxious Animal Law

Fatal fall on Cumberland Valley bridge claims life of Mervin Shealer
Cause of death traced to a fall from the large Cumberland Valley Railroad bridge over the Susquehanna in Harrisburg Friday afternoon. Mervin Shealer died about ten o'clock Friday night from a fractured skull after surgery failed. He was on duty on the bridge when it gave way, throwing him to the woodwork, with several wires nearby. He leaves a wife and four children, plus his parents and siblings.
