Husband Arrested In Goodyears Station Assault Case

Killed in His Own Grist Mill
Frank Welk, who ran a grist mill below Littlestown on the Baltimore pike, was killed Tuesday evening when caught in the machinery. His clothing was torn from him and he was wound around the main shaft. both legs broken and severe internal injuries. He died about two hours later after neighbors and a passerby freed him and a physician could not save him. He leaves a wife and a daughter, Mrs. Samuel Harmon, of near Taneytown.

Edward H. Sincell Jr. Dies at 21 in Oakland Maryland
Edward H. Sincell Jr., Gettysburg College graduate, died at his home in Oakland Maryland Wednesday morning after several weeks of typhoid fever. He would have turned twenty two December 23. He was a Sigma Chi member and survived by his parents Edward H. and wife and one brother Milton. Funeral services will be held Saturday in Oakland with pallbearers from his fraternity.

Widow Margaret Riser Dies in McSherrystown At 79
Mrs. Margaret Riser widow of John Riser died at her home in McSherrystown Tuesday at 11 40 p m after a two year illness from a complication of diseases. She was 79 years old and 5 days born in Germany and came to the United States at 17 with her brother. She lived near Conewago most of her life, moved to her present home 21 years ago, where her husband died four years later. Surviving are four children J F Klunk McSherrystown Peter Riser Hanover Miss Maggie Riser and Vincent Riser at home and six grandchildren.
