Longtime Emmitsburg Area Resident Dies at Age 85
G Miller Patterson of Freedom township died Wednesday night aged about 85. Born March 12 1826 in the county, he spent his life within five miles of his birthplace. Survived by wife two sons Albert M and G Meade of Emmitsburg daughters Mrs Albert Smith of Freedom township and Mrs George W Byers of Fairfield and brother Robert Patterson of Emmitsburg. Funeral services were held at his church.

Alone 4 Hours After Fall Fatal at York Residence
