Camp Gobin Opens With National Ceremony at Gettysburg

Burgoon, manager of Gettysburg Department Store hardware, was severely cut when a newly installed plate glass pane split and toppled on his right arm. He was wrapped, treated by Dr. J. R. Dickson, and taken to York Hospital for further care after initial dressing.

Train Jumper Seriously Hurt Near Highfield

Runaway Horse Spurs Narrow Escape in Hanover
Leo Caldwell and Miss Mary Livelsberger of Hotel O Bold Hanover with Master Edward Warner of Spring Grove drove to Edgegrove in a team owned by Devine. On returning they watered at Hotel Columbus McSherrystown the horse slipped its bridle and ran away. The occupants jumped free with minor injuries. The horse was uninjured though the buggy wrecked.
