Farmer injured when feed bag falls on wagon at warehouse
Lewis Storm of W. A. McIlhenny farm Straban township was hurt when a 100 pound feed bag dropped from the third story at McIlhenny Brothers warehouse on Carlisle street. He was unconscious briefly, suffered head and shoulder pain, and was kept at home two miles from town after treatment. The accident occurred as he waited for molasses feed to be lowered while in his wagon.

Speeding Packard Mercer Tour Through Chambersburg Provokes Fine
On March 26 two automobiles the Packard and the Mercer raced from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia through Chambersburg. Both exceeded the speed limit outrageously and the Chief of Police sent their numbers to Pittsburgh police. The Packard Company sent a $16 check covering the fine and costs as Gettysburg residents watched the speedy passage.

George Trimmer, formerly of York Springs, died suddenly in Lancaster about midnight Monday aged 50 years. He had lived in Lancaster eight years and worked in insurance. Runaway Caboose Crashes Into Freight Engine Near Highfield
A caboose detached from an eastbound train near Highfield at night, reaching speeds of up to eighty mph before colliding with freight engine No. 315 under Conductor Lawrence and Engineman Daubs. Daubs and Fireman Hise were slightly injured. the crew jumped to safety. The caboose derailed, caused a coal stove fire, and disrupted traffic briefly as rescuers cleared the wreckage.
