Walter Myers Sentenced to Six Months for Embezzlement

Fires on South Mountain Threaten Beartown Chapel
Two fires raged on South Mountain over recent days. A Beartown blaze burned 75 acres and threatened the Protestant Episcopal mission chapel, while another fire near Buena Vista Springs Hotel destroyed timber. College prank hides chairs and desk under Tiber bridge
Mischievous college boys removed the recitation room chairs and the professor's desk and hid them under the Tiber bridge on Washington street.
