Hendersons Open High Tech Peanut Curing Plant in Pontotoc County
Paul and Jerry Henderson completed a 65000 peanut curing and warehouse facility at Allen. The duo, backed by years of local work, touts thermostatically controlled drying at 95 degrees, strict government tested methods, and a 1600 ton storage capacity. The operation, approved by the Southern Peanut Growers Association, aims to raise peanut quality and farmer pay while aiding the county economy.
