Man Dies After Crash Near Maud Depot
A truck and the Oklahoma City to Atoka passenger train collided at a grade crossing just south of Maud depot. The driver C. L. Cunningham, 60, and J. L. Miller escaped with minor injuries, while C. L. McDonald, 35, died at Ada hospital from shock and loss of blood after his leg was severed. The accident occurred as the train departed the Maud depot. McDonald was a local farmer.
