Women veterans in Oklahoma may receive retroactive VA pay
About 2000 Oklahoma women veterans who left service since February 1 1955 may qualify for a new VA special payment of roughly 30 per month for each month of GI Bill training between June 1 1966 and October 24 1972 if they were married then. The rule is retroactive to June 1 1966. Claims must be filed at a VA regional office by July 1 1976 with proof of marriage.
