Antony W. Felton driver for Clements flour and feed dies after his truck is struck at the Twelfth street crossing by a Frisco yard engine. His sons Jarred and Cecil escaped as flour debris covered the scene. Felton, a 15 year Ada resident, died of skull concussion. engineer Tom Byrne was in the cab.

Roy Johnson of the state highway commission told Ada citizens that he will aid Pontotoc Seminole and Hughes counties in securing a road from Ada to Wewoka and Holdenville via a new bridge across the Canadian River. Work will be rushed with grading drainage and a gravel base before paving with concrete or hard surface. Initial surveys may start west toward Stratford with the line likely following the present route into Stratford.
