Willie Gray, a janitor for Ada merchants, entered the smoke filled J D Walker home at 624 North Rennie Tuesday evening and rescued three children Mary Ann 4 Rickie 3 and James 2. James and Mary Ann suffered severe facial burns and were taken to a grandmother’s home for care while Rickie had minor burns. Gray escaped with minor facial burns and returned to save the children without regard for his own safety.
