Amputation Possible After Stonewall Car Crash
Jude Hampton a 22 year old Ada youth suffered a badly mangled left arm when his light car sideswiped a cattle truck near Stonewall on Tuesday night. Doctors at the Ada clinic reported his condition good Wednesday and would try to save the arm though circulation might already be compromised. Hampton, adopted son of Ada businessman P. E. Pendergraft, was returning toward Ada on state highway 19 when he attempted to pass the truck driven by Hechal Vanhoesen of Garber on a bridge east of Stonewall.
