Important Title Suit at Lindsay Oklahoma

Trial of Alleged Bandits Postponed
Miami Oklahoma October 21 CUP counsel for Carl Doss and William Holt charged with robbing the First National bank of Quapaw last April 25 took back a plea for speedy trial and prompted Judge J J Smith to postpone the case likely to the regular criminal term. The men had been jailed since May and sought bond under five thousand dollars each but were opposed by the county attorney who said the prosecution was ready for trial. Holt and Doss were identified at preliminary hearings as the raiders who escaped after the depository raid eluding a posse in a five mile car exchange.
