Sportsmans Club Battles Moss at Lake Stonewall

The Stonewall area’s Sportsman’s Club works to clear moss and brush from 30 acres of lake near Stonewall. They drill a drainage siphon across the dam to lower water, anticipating moss death and easier fishing. The plan shows progress as the water level drops and a strong water pull begins.

Ada Beef Breeders sale set for October 28 at Ada

The Ada Beef Breeders Association schedules a major cattle sale at Ada Livestock Auction Barn on Friday October 28 at 1 30 p m. consignments include 42 horned and polled Hereford bulls 23 Hereford cows and heifers 10 Angus bulls and 6 Angus females. Accredited veterinarians certify TB and Bangs tests with vaccination certificates for Bangs disease. Officiating is auctioneer Guy Shull. Directors and officers from Ada and surrounding areas accompany consignors from Ada Wynnewood Konawa and nearby towns.
