The Oklahoma grand lodge of Odd Fellows opens its annual session in Stillwater with about 200 members and most local lodges represented. The referendum on amalgamating Oklahoma and Indian Territory jurisdictions passed by majorities around three to one, with Indian Territory canvass pending. Officers for the grand encampment are elected, naming T. F. Donnell, J. H. Donart, H. N. Pope, C Knedler, H. A. Herwig, J. J. Griffith, and C. L. Lyon.
Howard White’s son A W White was tied to a wagon on 12th Street in front of Conner’s shop when the horses suddenly bolted. The team dragged the wagon along 12th Street, then turned north before stopping.
