Mrs. Ethel Floyd, widow of Ben Floyd, was awarded 12 600 by a district court jury after an all day hearing in a damage suit against the St. Louis San Francisco railroad. The case stemmed from Ben Floyd’s death June 29 1925 when he was killed by a Frisco passenger train at Mill Creek.
