France Boycotts NATO Meetings Over Costs

In Brussels France boycotts NATO committee meetings aimed at sharing 250000 European troops costs with the United States. Meanwhile Allies seek about 840 million in France for prior expenses after De Gaulle expelled NATO from France in 1967. The U S notes troops in Europe cut its payments gap about 2 billion yearly, prompting bipartisan Senate concern on withdrawals and cost sharing.
