Lackey spoke on The Bible Mot her of Storehouse Ticking. Music featured Lasuane Gaar Betty Mitchell Wanda Fapler and others. Funds from the event supported citywide advertising of catholicsn? Aida churches represented included First Methodist Nazarene Dale Avenue Baptist Trinity Baptist First Baptist Salravian Army Assembly of God Presbyterian First Church of God and Free Will Baptist.

Daryal Barnes, 27, of Route 1 Wewoka, is in Valley View hospital with serious back injuries after a truck rollover near Byngs. Reports say Barnes was speeding and tried to avoid a car entering from a side road, causing the vehicle to flip several times. Companions were injured. Barnes remains under observation with further exams pending.
Paris reports the interior ministry expelled 19 Russians amid labor unrest and violence in Lyon. The group, identified as Soviet Patriotic Union leaders, were transported across an unnamed border by bus. Police used tear gas as protests grew near the Lyon prefecture linked to a communist-led labor drive.
The Ada Youth Center’s aging Convention Hall boiler, once rusted and unsafe with asbestos siding, has been repaired and put back in service. Officials say heat lines were reconnected and radiators fixed, allowing the center to reopen for winter use. Materials cost about 2100 dollars, covered in part by the Ada Kiwanis and plumbing firm A L Burleson doing the work at no charge.
WETCHIMAN Alaska Nov 28 reports say four men were found alive and three dead on the bow of the Avy Transport Clarksdale Vietwory after it was wrecked on Hippo Capt. Niels Haugen reported no trace of the other 44 crew. Aerial observers had seen three men ashore yesterday but searchers found no further survivors.
Three elderly men faced gambling charges in a municipal court after playing a nickel game in Hotlembeck Park for six years. The judge dismissed the current charge as ridiculous, noting the pot was only about 20 cents and ordering a small fine in the end.
London November 16 The Big Four ministers set the Austrian treaty at the head of their agenda and referred it to deputies for report by December 2 while German treaty preparation also moved up. The United States Great Britain France favored Austria first if Moscow agreed to delay German talks. The meeting at Lancaster House ran about three hours with discussions on frontiers and procedures for both treaties.
