Chicago reports a Baltimore and Ohio collision near Woodville Indiana on November 13. Of 165 passengers aboard the immigrant train 47 were killed or burned, 38 injured, 45 burned to ashes as cars burned beyond recognition. Fire followed wreckage, caused by a railroad employee's error. many bodies were unidentifiable.
