Oklahoma City reports preliminary moves toward a uniform county office system led by Charles N. Haskell. Sessions set standards for cash budgeting, clerk support, and fee structures, with committees appointed to secure legislation and procure supplies across counties.
Officials at the court house prepare to turn over county government to officials elected. A government expert will transcribe records for statehood. the U. S. district clerk and Deputy Brents of the marshal’s office ready reports. Transition expected by Saturday the sixteenth.
A formal notice from Oklahoma lawmakers corrects erroneous circulation about C. D. Carter's vote margins in the primary and general elections. It lists primary results Carter 1 AM Tinebaugh 20 with Carter plurality 2 11 aid and general results Carter 29 856 to Disney 15 925 with Carter plurality 13 4314.
Special Examiner Gardner of the Department of Justice arrived from Washington to review current cases and assess investigations across the region. Officials expect a briefing on pending matters and potential reforms following the visit.

Schoolgirls served baked goods and Indian school students offered traditional dishes while crowds from the old states enjoyed the attractions. Outside Sulphur a winter storm shifts Texas temperatures with snow and sleet from Amarillo to Palestine, forecast frost in Dallas, and windy cold conditions across the region.
Guthrie Oklahoma November 12 ruling that notaries public in Oklahoma Territory must show changed conditions when applying for a new commission. It states the necessary showing of changed conditions is not required to renew a commission.
