Rev Miller Injured In Overnight Crash Near Coalgate
COALGATE Rev Harry W Miller pastor of the Presbyterian church was found beside his wrecked car along SH 31 seven miles north of Coalgate around 12:20 am Thursday. He was semi conscious and taken to Mary Hurley hospital, later reported to be transferred to Oklahoma City for head injury evaluation. The car overturned after hitting a soft spot where recent road repairs were made. door on the driver's side opened, striking Miller as he was believed to be en route to the Keener home for funeral rites. He was to conduct services at 2:30 pm, carrying food to the Keeners. Condition awaited further medical word late Thursday.

William Bil Jones, 60, longtime Coalgate police chief for 37 years, died at an Ada hospital after a lengthy illness.
