Nat Williams died Wednesday at 1 30 a m after a two month illness from a stroke. Funeral services Thursday at 4 p m at Criswell Chapel with Rev Ivan J Young officiating. Burial in Rosedale Cemetery. Survived by Mrs Williams and two daughters Mrs Vivian Waltermire of Okemah and Mrs Lucille Thrash of Ada. Born May 17 1867 in Hardy Montague County Texas, he moved to Wetumka in 1901 and Ada in 1931. He married Susie Smelser of Wetumka in 1907 and was a Christian church member. Pallbearers listed from Ada Wetumka and Holdenville.

District Judge Tal Crawford denied L. F. Barber a mandamus to force J. Fred McCoy the county treasurer to pay a $1,790.35 judgment against the county from 1935. Boy Slightly Injured in Auto Smash Wednesday
A youth named Buddy Parrish was slightly injured in a collision between a truck and sedan at the Y on West Main at 6 10 Wednesday evening.
