C H Ennis and others travel to Stonewall on cotton business. Mrs Grayson near Ada ill with pneumonia. Judges and attorneys visit Ada. Families relocate to Malvern Tecumseh and Arkansas. Bank planned in Francis with $15000 capital. Local clubs, church officials, and farmers attend events. A broad sweep of everyday community life across Ada and nearby towns.
Ada and nearby towns report a stream of visitors and arrivals, including W C Duncan W L Reed in Tupelo Col J W Hayes in Stonewall and A Kt Waite from Stonewall. The Cumberland church revival grows with two converts and continued attendance. A comical aside recounts a man seeking window display sausages made of plaster.

Dr J L A Aymard reports using ground window glass and watch-glasses as wound dressings at Johannesburg hospital. He says thick glass smeared with carbolic oil healed wounds fully with no scarring, with two additional cases showing similar results.
A northern county man describes a village resident as cruel to his two children. He says the man, rich yet stingy, gave the children a penny to sleep without supper and whipped them when they failed to produce it at breakfast. He suspects the father stole the pennies.
Notice announces that bids will be received by the second assistant postmaster general in Washington until January 17, 1906, for mail service from Ada to Center in Indian Territory. Interested parties should call J. R. Young, Postmaster, Ada, for blank bid forms.
Patrons are advised that starting after Saturday January 6 the Red Gin will serve gin only on Wednesdays and Saturdays each week. Manager J. D. Looper directs patrons to follow the new hours.
First Published January 11 21 warning order issued by United States Commissioner’s Court in the Territory Southern District. Defendant Temple is warned to appear and answer by the 3rd day of the next term. Attorney F Lackland and J C Little represent non residents.
