Minneapolisan juror dies after six month term refusal
Genevieve A. Clark a juror in the Foshay mall fraud trial and her husband Daniel D. Clark died by carbon monoxide in a sedan, found three days before Mrs Clark was to begin a six month contempt sentence. Their two sons Rowland 10 and Dean 7 died with them. A farm tenant, Christ Laursen, discovered the car in dense underbrush south of St Paul. The Clarks had fled across northwest states and Canada after the trial, amid related legal actions and appeals in the Foshay case. Their deaths end a prolonged family escape and connect to wider contempt rulings in the mall fraud proceedings. In other notes, Bible work in a Home school showed strong pupil interest and several perfect scores and prizes in Psalm 121 recitations, while Boy Scout troops across multiple towns prepared for hikes and merit badge demonstrations.
