Root Digging Days Celebrate Spring at Silver Dollar City
The Ozarks event runs April 27 28 and May 4 5 at Marvel Cave Park near Springfield drawing about 12000 visitors. Highlights include muzzle-loaded cannons, straw-bale mazes, stagecoach rides, donkey rides, tug of war with an old steam engine, music, and the world's biggest dinner featuring whole steer barbecue at 46 cents a serving.
