Bud Walton was released on a 3000 dollar bond after arraignment in Sherwood W. Hill's justice court on charges of obtaining property under false pretense and a second offense. Hugo Oklahoma February 17 Sheriff Walter Mosier 43 a Shawnee officer died and John Tucker of Broken Bow was hospitalized after an auto truck collision on a foggy dust filled road. N J Jacobs Shawnee driver said dust from another car blanketed the road as the crash occurred while returning from Texas. Tucker driver of the truck was treated for severe injuries. Mosier who served as undersheriff 1939 to 1934 and sheriff of Pottawatomie county since that time is survived by his widow Bertha and two children Charles and Charlotte.
