Gulf Coast fish hunters net giants for Marine Life
Ken Gathe and Warren Cox hunt for 600 pound porpoises, sharks, manta rays, and sawfish for Marine Life. In a 65 foot rescue craft they patrol the Gulf of Mexico waters, using a 600 foot net and an 18 foot skiff to corral and haul prize fish for a giant public aquarium on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Assisted by extra hands for deep water operations, they describe the area as home to the world’s finest fishing.
