Professor K W Harris was elected principal of Ada High School by the Board of Education Monday night. The initial vote was 4 to 1 and the final vote was unanimous. Harris, formerly principal of Washington School, succeeds W L A Hill after two years at Ada. He has long experience as a district administrator in Purcell and other systems and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. Free Trip Planned For Confederates To State Reunion
A committee will canvass the city in the next day or two to raise funds for a free trip to the state reunion at Chickasha for Confederate Veterans of Pontotoc County their wives and widows.
