Riot injures thirteen policemen at Joe Louis celebration

Dr. F B Meek Dies in Oklahoma City
Dr. F B Meek, 65, died at home in Oklahoma City after four years of convalescence from injuries in an automobile accident. He came from Canada in 1907 and practiced medicine in Oklahoma, with an office in Alva at the time of the crash. Indicted Ada police chief Roy Keller in U S grand jury case
Former Ada police chief Roy Keller was indicted by a federal grand jury in Muskogee on charges of conspiring to violate the Dyer act. Co-defendants include C E Bud Rich and Harry E Brown, a former Ada jail prisoner now in Atlanta prison. State oil man dies in Tulsa
J E B Crosbie aged 76 prominent oil man died last night in Tulsa funeral services set for 2 pm with home viewing, burial in Crosbie mausoleum Rose Hill. He was named Grand Old Man of Tulsa at the International Petroleum Exposition last month. He started as a tool dresser at 16 and later became an independent operator before moving to Tulsa with the Glenn pool. He was a director of the National Bank of Tulsa at his death.
