Ada Welcomes Irish Pipe Coating Plant on 70 Acre Site
The Irish Pipe Coating Company, based in Shreveport, operates on a 70 acre Ada site to coat and wrap 176 miles of 30 inch pipe for Arkla’s Anadarko Basin transmission line. Under Bill Mason the plant now runs at up to 150 sections daily after weather delays, using steel shot cleaning, black primer, hot asphaltic enamel, asbestos-felt wrapping, and final end scraping before stacking for installation.
