Gale Statler, 78, long time local merchant and rancher, died Wednesday at 2:50 PM after a career spanning Otahomea area business, real estate, and public service. Funeral held Thursday at 2:30 PM from Criswell Parker Chapel, burial in Rosedale cemetery. Survived by widow, daughter Mrs. Mar Benniggan, sister, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He served in business partnerships and was a longtime member of the Presby terian church and Elks and Knights of Pythias lodges.
