Auto Wreck Near Stratford Injures Three Holdenville Women
A Friday night crash south of Stratford injured three Holdenville women from Holdenville. Mrs Rose, her daughter, and Mrs Harris suffered severe rib, facial, and head injuries respectively as an ambulance from Ada rushed them to a Holdenville hospital. They were returning from Sulphur when they veered into a ditch and struck a telephone pole.

Ada Opens New Municipal Airport With Flight Demonstrations
Several thousand residents gathered at the Ada municipal airport to witness six planes in action marking the opening of the new landing field. The right of way on No. 48 from Ada to the Canadian river has been obtained enabling the highway commission to let bids for grading drainage and bridges. Easements on No 12 to Roff require route changes. Work also progresses on No 19 between Ada and Stonewall with sections graded and crews active toward Ahloso and Stonewall. Cars use the new highway toward Allen.
