Chief Justice Edwin R McNeill of Tulsa lost the democratic nomination to Thurman Hurst of Pawnee by a narrow margin. Thomas A Edwards of Cordell was defeated for democratic renomination in the southern district by Bert Barefoot of Chickasha who led Edwards by over 12990 votes. Eben L Taylor of Tulsa was named Republican sixth district supreme court justice over W R Kerr. In Bowling Green Ky Henry Johnson one eyed Black man charged with petty larceny drew a 30 day jail term after claiming someone slipped a sex into his pocket.
