Washington July 26 The first war agency head to liquidate his bureau Rubber Director Bradley Dewey said the United States synthetic rubber industry valued at 759 million dollars will survive into peacetime. He noted production at the full rate of 836000 tons annually, about 250000 tons more than prewar natural rubber consumption, and warned of labor shortages impacting tires and civilian and some military activity.
