Okmulgee Oklahoma July 18 An Okmulgee man and his stepdaughter died from gunshot wounds in what authorities call murder and suicide. Victims Myrna Ruth Johnson 16 and Robert Lee Massengale about 60 were killed at the Massengale home around 5 am. Witnesses Rosa Lee Massengale 50 Jackie Johnson 13 and Norma Lee Miller 19 report Massengale fired on his wife then shot the girl and fled before killing himself after police and county officials canvassed the scene. The couple had married June 16 and Massengale had filed for divorce Monday then asked his attorney to dismiss it.
