Col Maynard Miller, a 31 year old Army veteran now retired, runs a seven acre Christmas tree plantation near Ada Oklahoma. He raises about 10000 Scotch and Austrian pines in four 2500 tree sections and plans a choose and cut operation for 1976. Miller notes Oklahoma imports most trees from Wisconsin Michigan and Canada and believes local commercial production can grow. Striper Spawning Report At Texoma Lake OKLAHOMA CITY
The Oklahoma Fisheries Division reports striped bass spawned at Texoma in the Washita Arm with 261 fry counted from 40 to 94 mm.
