Funeral set for geologist John Fitts in Ada
Funeral services for John Fitts renowned geologist will be Thursday at 2 p m from the First Christian church in Ada with Rev Ivan J Young officiating. Burial follows in Atoka cemetery. Fitts 63 died Tuesday in Sulphur after illness. He recently lived in Ada, from Atoka, later moved to Sulphur. The AAPG named him an associate member for his work with students and the oil fraternity.
