Ada develops high capacity water from Arbuckle limestone with two deep wells near Byrd's Mill Spring and Hickory Roy Turner reports sinking two wells for irrigation. The Dearman Ranch well at 1036 feet yielded 2705 gpm and 3 895 000 gallons daily while Norris Ranch well at 900 feet produced 2745 gpm and 3 936 960 gallons daily.
