Jealousy Suspected in Allen Market Shooting
Sunday morning about 7 36 A G McPherson was shot in the Allen meat market by J J Williams, who surrendered to deputies and was taken toward Ada. McPherson is in critical condition, with a bullet through the breast and into his lung. Williams allegedly acted over suspected jealousy as he and McPherson’s wife had a troubled history. County officials opened an investigation and a preliminary hearing date was not set.
