Three Hurt in Four Mishaps at Blue River Bridge
Three people were treated at Valley View hospital after two vehicle rollovers on Blue River bridge near Connerville and near Ada on SH 19. Hershel Henkel, 35, and two Hominy residents, W. W. Daniels, 56, and Arthur Osborn, ?, were injured. Daniels and Osborn kept overnight for observation, Henkel released. A second crash involved Lorene McCarty, 31, of Tishomingo, with scalp lacerations described as fair. Ice on the bridge and a 20 foot embankment contributed to the accidents. Trooper Van Arsdell and Highway Patrol reported the incidents occurred Wednesday and Thursday morning.
