Victim of Shooting Fray In Coal County Died Here Monday
Louis Murphy died at 4 o clock yesterday afternoon in the Ada hospital from three bullet wounds received at a dance near Centrahoma. He planned burial in Mississippi. Murphy, who had lived in Coal county seven months, was reportedly attempting to separate a drunken brawl when Kid Brown opened fire. Brown’s gun struck Murphy in the abdomen, jaw, and leg. Murphy leaves a wife and at least one child.
